"McCloud River" 11" X 14" Oil SOLD

Had a great trip to Mount Shasta and the McCloud River in Northern California.
This plein air painting was sold on site as I was doing it. We're heading north to Oregon from here and should be home by Monday with lots of new work for the Christmas art season. I can feel fall in the air, so if I want to get much more high mountain painting done it will have to be in the next few weeks before the first snows start.
Hate leaving my gardens this time of year. Everything is ready to pick, pickle, freeze or can for the pantry and the fall flowers are just starting to bloom. The apples are sitting in buckets or on the ground - actually that would make a great painting. Back Soon!

the Nevada border. We were over there doing a plein air
fundraiser for their hospice program and I had extra time ....

This painting found a home with a wonderful client near San Diego,
California. She has purchased several of my pieces over the past few months.
Although we have never met, her warm emails lead me to suspect that
we would be fast friends were it not for the distance.

This beauty is a favourite because we had so much fun during
our stay near Crater Lake, Oregon. All the artists were in rare form and
partied as hard as they painted. We plan on making it an annual thing.
